Jul 2006 - Jan 2007Assistant to the Site ManagerViadom, in consortium with Porr Bau and Teerag‐Asdag constructed the eastern sector of the Hungarian M0 ring road between road nr. 4 and 31. The works comprised 18 km long 2x2 lanes highway, 23 bridges, 10 over‐ and 13 underpasses.I was working as an assistant to the site manager for earth works, all together around 2M m3 soil wastransported. My task was environmental friendly soil management, daily monitoring and reporting atall levels.

Sept 2008 - Apr 2012Metro Line 4, St. Gellért station constructionDesign and construction works of the St. Gellért station of the new Metro Line 4. Due to the lack of available area on the surface, half of the station was constructed as a box and mining method was used for the other part. Reversing structure of the station was also completed by mining method. The station is the 1700m2 and 33m deep.My work started here in May 2007 as a Project Engineer. My key tasks included subcontractor monitoring and administration, environmental management and also interface management. After completion of construction works in May 2011 I focused on claims management as Claims Engineer. Show less Historical Szabadsag hid reconstructionComplete reconstruction of the 333m long cantilever truss bridge with a suspended middle span above the Danube bridge. Works included super‐structure reconstruction, war damage repair, noise and impulse absorbing tram way reconstruction, NA600 utility pipes replacement and reparation of the 4 large bronze statues at the top of the four masts.From September 2008 there was a foreseen, almost two years long break in the above mentioned construction works of the metro station. During this period I was delegated to the historical Szabadság bridge reconstruction project. When I started working there, the project had been ongoing for almost two years. Until the end of the construction I was responsible for interface management among the joint venture partners, the subcontractors, the suppliers and the Employer. It was also my task to ensure environmental friendly daily activities. I co-managed the bridge’s final hand-over to the Employer and I managed all the works during the 2 years long defects notification period. Show less

Jun 2012 - Jul 2015Green Line Underground (GLU) and Green Line Elevated and At-Grade GLU is part of the Doha Metro project, which objective is to provide mass transit for mega events likethe FIFA World Cup in 2022. The design and build project comprised 17 km twin tunnels, 24 crosspassages and 6 stations. The Green Line Elevated and At-Grade is the above ground continuance of the GLU project, The alignment includes 1km at grade and 2km elevated sections, ramp, bridges and a station.I was working as a Contract Administrator, being responsible for subcontractor management. My responsibilities included developing and reviewing contracts, making sure that environmental precautions were taken into consideration and all technical activities were in line with the Client’s requirements and project criteria. This is the 1st project in the Middle East to be rated by the evidence based Ceequal assessment to ensure the sustainability. The target was to reach “good” Ceequal rating. My role as senior Project Engineer and Ceequal Assessor was to lead the team to deliver the technical aspects of CEEQUAL infrastructure.

The project scope is coordination, management and transport planning and engineering consultancy services for the overall update of seven critical transport projects for the State of Qatar.I assist to ensure that the seven associated projects are carried out in a fully coordinated manner and are undertaken in line with international best practice technical standards. Show less Services on the Doha South Terminal Pump Station and Regional Odour Control project included the concept design, the preliminary design and the construction tendering. The approximately 40m deep terminal pumping station is designed for an average 205 MLD sewage flow rate. The project is located adjacent to a stadium which will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar TM. Among the local and international standards, the strategic odour control facility has to fulfil the strict requirement of Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, to avoid any odour dispersion during the football event.As Project Technical Coordinator, I was an integral member of the multidiscipline project team, being responsible for organizing and controlling various project activities under the direction of the Project Manager. I am effectively and accurately communicating relevant project information to the Client and project team and I also ensure the Clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost‐effective manner. Show less
