  In the role of aiding the development of new models, one of the main responsibilities is to help target problematic aspects of a model's catwalk and make corrections before beginning castings for jobs and international agencies. Workshops and individual lessons are conducted to help models practice and understand the elements of a successful runway walk. The creation of image based mood boards and video examples into PDF and email packages is another tool used to help models, as well as other specific areas of the job they might need to work on. For example, how to dress successfully for castings, or how to emote and pose at a photo shoot effectively. As an assistant, responsibilities include organization of photo shoots between photographers and models, interaction with clients and international agencies, management of social media and email accounts, making selections of images from test shoots, minimal re-touching of images, and curation of model portfolios for print and online.
