  Develop products in Machine Health Monitoring•Member of global team that developed and implemented firmware for NXP Kinetis MK24FN microcontroller for the next generation of Bluetooth vibration and temperature sensor with improved performance and longer battery life.•Member of a team that implemented firmware for TI CC3200 IOT processor in a WiFi vibration sensor prototype.•Developed an Android internet application to demonstrate the data transfer between the WiFi sensor prototype and a cloud server.•Built a Near Field Communication (NFC) sensor prototype by integrating the STM M24LR RFID/NFC chip into the I2C bus in an existing PIC24F-based vibration and temperature sensor and implemented the firmware that runs the device.•Developed an Android app to demonstrate transfer data through the NFC connection to/from the NFC sensor prototype.•Collaborated with international companies to develop machine-health-monitoring products which are compliant with popular ISA100a and WirelessHART wireless networks to broaden the customer base.•Developed the software for a large WinCE-based LAN machine-condition-monitoring panel to replace an aging predecessor product. The panel can be configured up to 32 vibration/temperature input channels, 8 tachometer input channels, 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. The same software also runs on a scaled-down version hardware for machine tool protection to save development time and maintenance effort by reducing duplicated code.•Developed software for WinCE-based four channel handheld machine-health-monitoring data logger.•Developed firmware for an 80386-based two-channel handheld machine-health-monitoring data logger.
