      In conjunction to duties at NEC Electronics America, was asked to provide services as an IBM technology consultant within NEC Corporation• Pre-sales support for creating customized Lotus Domino environments to be used as technology demonstration environments to help Sales engineers exhibit NEC Corporation’s abilities as an IT services company. Helped obtain sales wins at Honda R&D, Maui Police Department and Nissin International Transport.• Planned, tested and deployed replacement of NEC Display Solution’s Lotus Sametime version 1 instant messaging system with a single Sametime 8.5.1 server. Built scripts to automate installation of the client and population of their chat lists to ease installation. Provided administrative documentation written so that relatively untrained helpdesk technicians would be capable of performing those duties. Project was under budget and on time, with glowing customer reviews.• Took over management of NEC Corporation of America’s Network Operations Center Domino environment, consisting of two Lotus Domino 8.5.2 clustered application servers. These servers acted as the support team’s 24x7 interface for notification, escalation and documentation of any network outage incidents at their customer locations.Resolved several complex crash issues plaguing their environment, which had been a constant issue for the NOC team.• Administered NEC Corporation of America’s BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6 environment.
