      The Argyle Tavern is a convict built historic venue in Sydney's Rocks area. The 80's were a very exciting time when inbound tourism was increasing both in terms of incentive groups and conferences and Sydney was very much a sought after destination. At the Argyle we developed an Aussie convict themed evening show and there were a number of private rooms and a courtyard for groups. Bushbands, sheep shearing, didgeridoo (I think we launched the career of Ernie Dingo) - all sounds corny now but it was a runaway success and we became an automatic inclusion on every incentive/conference itinerary.       A contract position to act as Convenor and Organiser of Sydney Ideas Fair for 1991 and 1992..Was responsible for co-ordinating hosted buyer program, selling sponsorship and all exhibition space and developing a vibrant program of seminars and entertainment over the two day event. The event was subsequently acquired by ETF - Exhibition and Trade Fairs and rebranded ABEE - Australian Business Events Expo and subsequently InspirEX.
