      Meanwhile in the past I have worked part time at a local sofa factory called Chesterfields Direct were I help to make 5 star frames and delivering couches to the buyer’s homes. This also involved high quality customer service to clients to make them satisfied on the product we delivered. I was given the opportunity to be a Distribution Specialist, this required stock analysis, communication to Customers who came on the shop floor and taking specific customised orders from customers.

      I used to work at Garside Laycock, Preston were I helped in the estimating department to get in all the quotation tender enquiries needed for large projects such as refurbishing buildings and colleges/university. This included sending out tender enquiries by post and e-mail, printing off CAD drawings and dealing with sub-contractors enquires on the phone. Giving the role of an assistant estimator administrator at the company, I helped in the process of securing two new large job sales from external clients allowing the building contractors to start the job as soon as the notice of intent came in. Working with Garside Laycock within a short period of time was a great achievement for me in my development & understanding of all office duties and this role gave me an overall boost. I was only at Garside and Laycock for a short time scale as I was given the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship with another provider. I was offered a part time position but for my benefit and development, I chose to do my apprenticeship which was full time to build my qualifications and experience within the administration and sales sector.       From the start of September 2012 I started a new role with Training @ Hopwood as an apprentice sales officer for all apprenticeships. This is a technical, face to face and cold calling role to try and deliver apprenticeship framework in external and internal organisations.Beforehand I worked with the administration team for 13 months and have learned numerous different office skills within the professional environment. One of the fundamental skills that I have successfully accomplished is communicating with colleagues of all levels, as well as with external clients in a friendly yet professional manner. I can work independently as well as cooperatively with others offering support and help to complete on-going projects or tasks. I am also familiar with Microsoft packages as I use them on a daily basis to keep all records and databases on track. Show less

      Working in a construction based recruitment agency, specialist in the New Build Sector, where I deal with candidates on a day to day basis. Manage each candidate individually to place them on a site that is suitable for them. I take the lead role in managing the candidate flow for a particular team or branch. Hands on job filling position with responsibility in larger teams for more junior resourcing staff. This covers everything from high Customer Service with both Client and Candidate, Resourcing candidates and building the database, making sure that all Compliance Documentation is up to date, ensuring that all Administration duties are completed and Developing New Staff members within the business. Also in my role, I link up with Training Providers and Employment Services to get candidates who are looking to get back into work, in work with a quick turn over. This has been successful with Bromaks business and I have now taken the lead role to develop North West with external Training Providers. This is something that I suggested and now my fellow colleagues are doing the same across the nation. My role was to manage the resources that are in Bolton – Co-Ordinate all Bolton temp bookings to ensure they are being filled correctly, make sure that they are obtaining the correct RTW, Tickets and qualifications are attached.This role will also give me the opportunity to go and train people from different offices on my day to day routines of job filling, but will also give my whole knowledge of the existing database and Fawkes & Reece procedures to other candidate/labour managers across the divisions.
