  As the product manager at SLC I am responsible for managing the software development roadmap for all applications developed in the U.S. and for working with global teams at our other branches to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for collaboration. I work with engineering, customer service, sales, and directly interface with customers to evaluate business needs and define objectives to generate mutual value.I function as the product owner for the local software group, responsible for communicating the product vision to the development team, managing & prioritizing the backlogs, designing prototypes for new applications, and working with the development team on a daily basis regarding any design decisions or questions that arise.Additionally, I manage our DevOps team of 4 developers, 3 network engineers and a project manager. The DevOps team is responsible for project-specific development, deployments and upgrades to production. The software focused side of our team owns product cybersecurity, enforcement of the SDLC, and managing the integrity of our source control. The network side of the team owns the physical installation of the IT infrastructure of our automation systems, VPN management, and local test & staging environments. Show less
