My job responsibilities include coordinating and completing Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and employee training programs as well as reviewing EPA guidance for upcoming policy changes. Field activities include on-site audits of ambient air monitoring equipment and systems. I repair, maintain, and recertify calibration standards and equipment used by the ambient air monitoring program to NIST-traceable transfer standards. I am familiar with the operation, certification, and repair of ambient air monitoring equipment from American Ecotech, Environics, R. M. Young Company, Sabio Environmental, Teledyne API, Thermo Scientific, and Tisch Environmental, among others.I am the designer, programmer, and administrator of 4 in-house Microsoft Access databases utilizing Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Structured Query Language (SQL), including ones which provide reporting data to EPA's Air Quality System (AQS) database. I also create database documentation, training materials, and program user guides.Present environmental topics including recycling, water quality, pollinator habitat, air quality monitoring, and DEQ programs to large groups consisting of both children and adults.
