      • Reconciled both inter-company corporate bank account statements and company credit card reconciliation on a monthly basis.• Reconciled general ledger accounts on a monthly basis in conjunction with the finance manager.• Performed cash flow forecasts on a monthly basis. This involved updating lease payments for the current month and following month and creating a cash flow forecast spreadsheet for accounts payable staff to update on a daily basis.• Analysed forecasts, budgets and profit and loss (P&L) variance; prepared and calculated a weekly margin percentage based on the P&L and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, and distributed load reports to directors. • Managed and maintained fixed assets on a monthly basis. Working as an Accountant in SCF, my main achievements are as below:• Managed monthly and annual financials for the SCF Group, SCF China and SCF Hong Kong and provided support with external audit queries and compliance requirements• Undertook financial control and review of international and domestic manufacturing projects, which involved the capitalisation and allocation of build and purchase assess• Supervised accounts officers to complete the reconciliation of Accounts Receivable (AR) and AP. This included identifying and following up outstanding reconciling items, as well as verification of revenues, margin analysis, expenses and income.• Improved financial processes and procedures including the implementation and transfer of accounting data to a new financial system; the integration of the finance system with the general business system; and efficiency improvements in the assets and depreciation registers.• Implemented significant improvements in the control of SCF Group’s 20,000 assets capitalisation and financial reporting 30 major projects. Worked closely with project management staff to improve overall accountability and the responsible control of expenditure.• Created the customised online billing report from Telstra’s business portal for SCF Group. This significantly shortened the accounts payable (AP) manual process each month and led to allocating costs accurately.
