  Development of new technology, both software and hardware. I built the first computer performance monitor and a simulation of the OS/MFT Operating System to measure and tune overall system performance. This product was sold by P&G to IBM and was known as the Systems Measurement Instrument. I wrote an interactive FORTRAN compiler for remote usage on terminals attached to an IBM 1800. I was part of a team which built a three computer architecture for real time three dimensional molecular modeling and display driven from an NMR which fed an IBM 1800 Data Acquisition computer hooked to an IBM 360/67 for scientific modelling, with real time display on a Tektronix storage scope..
