  Attorney Busher is a partner with the firm and has been a member of the Connecticut bar for 20 years. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross in 1993. He obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence with honors in 1996 from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law, where he also received the Cornelius W. Wickersham, Jr. Award for Constitutional Law and the American Jurisprudence Award for Constitutional Law. Attorney Busher has a wide range of litigation experience. As a CLM litigation management professional he searches for creative, quick resolution, case-appropriate strategies in all litigated matters. His litigation experience includes personal injury, property damage, construction defect, and insurance coverage matters . In addition, Attorney Busher has a concentration in appellate practice, with the researching and drafting of over 45 briefs and appellate motions, and argument before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 2008, Attorney Busher has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he teaches a class on appellate practice. He has received an A-V rating from Martindale-Hubbell (Preeminent legal ability rating and Very High general ethical standards rating). He has also been rated as a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters since 2007.Attorney Busher serves as a guest lecturer on the law at Nathan Hale-Ray High School in East Haddam and is a member of The Connecticut Consortium for Law and Citizenship Education, Inc. He serves as a Member of the Board of Finance for St. Bridget of Kildare Church in Moodus. He is also an active a member of the Moodus Knights of Columbus and the East Haddam Lions Club. Show less
