      Jan 1998 - Jan 2000
      Senior Engineer

I created and performed several IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols for PLC-driven mixing equipment, filling/sealing machines and multiple labeling systems, and worked closely with visiting FDA representatives during audits of production processes and standard operating procedures. Serving as Study Director, I oversaw the verification of compliance of manufacturing equipment located throughout the facility during the Y2K transition. I was successful in identifying labeling process improvements and implemented procedures to debug, design and troubleshoot labeling systems to maximize operational efficiency and system reliability, and I led efforts to generate and implement other production improvements with a focus on quality assurance. Jan 2000 - Jan 2002
      Project Engineer

I oversaw multiple projects tasked with improving productivity and quality within a manufacturing facility that produced diverse cosmetics product lines. Acting as a liaison, I collaborated with managers across multiple divisions as well as outside contractors to complete facility-wide improvements. I served as a interim Supervisor for 4 months for a team of 30 line tenders, mechanics and technicians in the production area, and I assisted with the creation, debugging and installation of a PLC-based system to automate the wastewater treatment plant processes. I devised and implemented strategies which reduced production floor system changeover times to 15 minutes or less. Show less

      Jan 2003 - now

Providing leadership, I managed a collaborative team of 13 people in coordinating calibrations, asset acquisitions and preventive maintenance for the Manufacturing Engineering division. We completed new equipment builds, as well as repairs and retrofits of test equipment, all of which required excellent organization and prioritization of tasks to complete projects on time. As a Cost Account Manager, I forecasted estimates, approved expenses and analyzed labor hours and material dollars, reporting to the Finance Department and Program Managers for more than 100 cost accounts. As a Safety Committee Member, I directed and maintained a sponsored safety shoe program which increased safety for employees involved in heavy lifting. I led a team in the implementation of an intranet-based work order application system used to track repairs and replacements of defective assets, and facilitated training courses for users of this system. I also led efforts within a management team responsible for transitioning periodic preventive maintenance plans and unscheduled repairs for equipment from inefficient paper-based documentation processes into effective database-driven application systems. This allowed for archival of valuable information for the assets that enabled tracking of metrics such as MTBF, downtime, and uptime. It also assisted with "repair vs. replace" decisions on the assets. Show less My responsibilities included providing high level engineering support for multiple group projects, meeting critical deadlines and reaching budget objectives to minimize costs. I played a pivotal role in creating and assembling an environmental stress screening test chamber, automated test equipment, and interface test adapters used to test the capabilities of Falcon Edge IEWS CCAs, SRUs and LRUs. As a Project Manager, I led new builds and retrofits of 10 ATP stations for the Guardian program, and collaborated with the Equipment Support team to coordinate the builds of key assemblies, cables, fixtures and racks associated with these systems.
