      My duties included: • Analysis of user requirements from a financial and technical feasibility standpoint. • Creation of numerous performance measurement reports, costing reports and non-financial data reports. These reports were built in SAP Query Designer, BEx Analyzer or Excel as and when the client required the reports. • Investigation of monthly report variances for both financial (e.g. income/expenses) and non-financial (e.g. carbon emissions) indicators. Those investigations took place within the Business Warehouse module as issues often occurred within the cube. • Consolidation and transformation of information from various mining operations over three continents.• Provided advice, support and training on existing systems.       My duties included: The complete management, development and oversight of Warwick’s information and reporting systems; creation of documentation thereof and the training of end users on these systems. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders from the various business units to gather user/departmental requirements for improving current processes and/or the development and deployment of new business processes. Notable systems: • IRESS – Xplan – CRM System used to house all client data and control and track business processes and flows between the various departments. • Microsoft Excel – currently the preferred database and reporting software within Warwick. Used extensively within every department. • Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition (SSMS & SSRS) – currently used on a small scale to consolidate and report on large amounts data from multiple sources. Responsible for designing and creating the various databases and tables, as well as populating the tables with data via Visual Studio (SSDT). • Microsoft Power BI – I self-taught myself Power BI and, as a result, had this project green-lit by the Executive Committee for use within Warwick. I am responsible for the entire solution from end-to-end. This entails loading tables, creating the relationships between them, creating appropriate measures and calculated columns, creating the final reports for users and controlling user access rights. The sources of the data are from the three above-mentioned systems. Reporting Duties:• Performance Measurement - preparation and dissemination of a daily Dashboard with accompanying underlying breakdown of data for the month-to-date figures. • Activity – creation of weekly executive reports reflecting the various staff and department activity levels for the week as well as month-to-date. • Board/Executive – creation of monthly, annual and bi-annual reports used by the company’s Executive Committee.
