  Shield Life had just opened a new HQ in Dublin. I was tasked with establishing an IT facility using the Groups's Life Policy Management System. Working closely with the Actuarial and Sales Department this involved customising the software for Ireland and the addition of new Insurance products.The eventual system was installed in an outsourcing facility "bureau" and processed all of Shield's life policy requirement, including premium calculation, commission cheques and Management reports.

  I was assigned as senior Consultant Analyst / Developer to assist Toyota Ireland in customising and implementing Parts & Stock Control System. The key elements of the system were: Stock Control, Automatic Ordering to Toyota Japan and Point of Sales Toyota Dealer Invoicing.
