In this setting, I observed an occupational therapist as she worked on ADLs and IADLs with residents in the Rocky Knoll Living Facility. These residents suffered from dementia, strokes, arthritis, and weakness that required the residents to need assistance with their daily living. The occupational therapist worked on strengthening exercises and adaptive ways to complete ADLs and IADLs. The occupational therapist made adaptive equipment for the clients and educated the clients on the correct use. I assisted and observed the therapist as she completed documentation, intervention, and educating the clients. Show less
