    • Brigham Young University School of Music

      Sept 2007 - Sept 2010

From April 2008 to August 2009, I volunteered to help design a new organ for Dr. Cook's office studio. The result was Rodgers Opus 1979, a dual-computer digitial organ with about 335 voices. The organ successfully imitates five different schools of organbuilding: American Classic, French Romantic, French Classic, North German Baroque, and Central German Late Baroque. From May 2010 through September 2010, I held a paid position on this project. I voiced the North German Baroque and American Classic sample sets, and I assisted Dr. Cook with the French Romantic and other sample sets. Together, we planned some sample replacements that will make the organ imitate these various organs even more successfully. Show less
