      Project co-ordinator for the GAU Womens Empowerment Project:• Leading and attending regular review meetings, developing strategies for continuous improvement, and influencing senior stakeholders for desired outcomes, resulting in the development of the Women’s Empowerment Project.• Managing volunteers, local suppliers, contractors, and vendors to host annual events, seminars, and networkingsessions, with average 150-200 attendees, including high-profile speakers and parliamentary stakeholders.• Communicating with and tutoring approx. 100 women a range of skills including English, budget management, andfirst aid, with an empathetic yet methodical approach, adapting tutoring to different learning styles.• Recognised with Amnesty Brave Award 2020 and by Scottish parliament for advocacy and delivery of digital initiatives, online classes, and social opportunities for the BAME community during the COVID-19 pandemic.Since 2018, I have been a Project Coordinator for Glasgow Afghan United (GAU). This position has allowed me to develop a wide breadth of skills, including the ability to project manage and coordinate large-scale events. For example, I was responsible for working alongside a team of volunteers to host a carnival for 90+ women and children and ensuring the event met KPIs and within budget.
