  -I started my position here as a bakery team member. Observation of my progress and quality work, I was asked to be trained as a deli team member also.-This role required the learning of a complete skill set from scratch, I excelled from the beginning and within weeks became a trusted member of staff. -Self-initiative was a priority in this role as members of staff were required to complete tasks in an efficient manner with the highest quality.-Working within this company required flexibility and adaptability cross-over training was often required. I am a fully trained deli staff member as well as a bakery staff member. I did not shy away from learning new skills and being challenged.-HACCP was adhered to of the highest standards and maintain cleanliness of both my person and workspace was of utmost importance in this role.-As an award winning bakery, teamwork, cooperation and collaboration were of vital importance as high volumes of customers ordered and bought our services. -This role enabled me to be able to work under extreme pressure whilst keeping a level head, calm demeanour and going above and beyond to ensure quality products and services to our valued customers. The convenient location in relation to the Three concert Arena made for extremely busy periods and late nights that require dedication, stamina and competency.-Ensuring proactive, clear and positive communication with the kitchen and between other servers was an essential aspect of running a fast-paced and quality service.-Adhering to HACCP standards is a major part of this role and having extensive knowledge about food safety and manual handling has been of vital importance and is knowledge that i carry with me everywhere.-Being part of a team,delegating and interacting in a calm and positive environment was key to running smoothly and enjoying the work that we performed.-Prepping the restaurant for service, general upkeep and maintaining high standards enabled me to advance my own self-initiative. -My experience in the East restaurant permitted me to advance my skills as a worker, which are transferable to any task both career-related or personal. working in a strict but positive and encouraging environment gave me the opportunity to grow as a person, giving me the confidence to self-improve, both on a personal and professional level.
