      As a major, I studied forest sciences with emphasis on ecology and silviculture. My minors were forest- and environment juridic and environmental sciences.

      In my current position, I'm supporting the businesses of UPM Forest in enviromental issues. The main responsibilities in my job description are related to forest certification, land-use management and environmental management systems. In addition to these, there's a wide range of different forest- and environment-related tasks from employee training to communications. As a project specialist, I worked with land-use planning and management processes of company-owned land areas. I also participated in developement of centralized data- and GIS-systems from the point of view of land-use unit's needs.
