  The Vegas STEM Lab (2023) was a 3-week program for middle schoolers at UNLV funded by the NSF. It strived to introduce these students to the world of entertainment engineering and hospitality, as well as robotics. I underwent 5 weeks of training as well as weeks of developing my own project on Arduino for my group of students. I learned to better create relationships and bonds with people as well as learning a new type of C-based coding environment and many aspects of entertainment engineering that were foreign to me. For the final project, I led the students to create a Smart Home project utilizing solely a variety of sensors and an ESP-32 microprocessor.   Participated in the third and final year of the Vegas STEM Lab (2024). This NSF-funded program aimed to enlighten the youth, particularly those in Las Vegas, about the field of Entertainment Engineering. As a mentor, I was able to accomplish this by guiding my students through C++ programming as well as going through the process of creating a ChatGPT-replica using an ESP-32 microprocessor and APIs.
