  I have, as a Senior Health Inspector work in different parts of the Gambia in the area of Public and Environmental Health and doing duties such as Immunization of Children under Five and Pregnant women against Public Health Vaccine Preventable DiseasesHealth Education and Health Promotion,Disease Surveillance, Environmental Monitoring,etc. Over the ten years of work experience with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, i have been the head of the Public Health Office at Banjulnding Health Center supervising over thirty villages and ten health posts. I have been keenly active in disease surveillance and in that i have been fully participating in National Immunization Days normally conducted periodically based on the trend of reported diseases of public health importance such as Poliomyelitis, measles, meningitis and yellow fever.
