       Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Managing staff and providing them with feedback. Responding to customer complaints. Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards. Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations. Up selling and advising customers on menu choice. Recruiting, training and motivating staff. Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, cashiers and cleaning staffs. Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety. Checking stock levels and ordering supplies. Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required. Meets outlet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; Scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; ensuring high quality of preparation. Helping in any area of the outlet when circumstances dictate. Be accountable for the bakery HACCP procedures and ensure these are carried out, monitored and recorded correctly throughout the kitchen. Ensure high standards of hygiene are achieved in the kitchen and maintained at all times. Ensure that the kitchen is left clean, tidy and secure at the end of each working day and that this is duly recorded in the ‘End of Day' HACCP log. Be prepared for and accommodate the Environmental Health Officer on the annual inspection and on any spot checks carried out throughout the year. Be prepared for and accommodate the Trading Standards Officer on routine and spot checks carried out throughout the year. Ensure all outlet staffs has the appropriate health and hygiene training for their specific role and that they work within the set procedures. Ensure all outlet staffs adhere to the Farm Shop Health and Safety guidelines Show less
