Through innovative projects I, along with a team build sound infrastructure for learning. Develop a all access wifi for the institution which had none. Gave life to dim corridor ways among others.       This was a project done in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the October 2013 Youth Ambassadors Program in achieving their goals as outlined by the US State Department through the U.S. Embassy in Jamaica.Following participation in the Youth Ambassadors Program in the United States, they were required to implement an external project under the heading, Leadership in Action - LIA.The team of twelve (12) Youth Ambassadors (9 students and 3 adult mentors) met and decisively agreed that the project will be:• To establish Volunteerism Clubs in the six (6) schools from which the students are drawn.• To coordinate a book drive to benefit Pringle’s Home for Children in St. Mary between December 2013 and January 2014, with handover in April 2014.• To put forward a list of activities that the clubs could consider year round.• To guide the clubs for the first six months and then gradually nurture them based on their BoldLeaders Training.Since then, the clubs has engaged students in productive co-curricular activity that develops qualities of selflessness, leadership and that benefit the community at large.       The Volunteering Ambassadors Club was founded by the October 2013 Cohort of Youth Ambassadors on February 6 2014 in two schools simultaneously; Old Harbour High and St. Mary High school followed by Cumberland, Bustamante and Charlemont High schools in subsequent days to follow .       Y-Klick Youth Advocate in charge of Youth Coalitions

      Y-Klick is a youth advocacy initiative operated under the Respect Jamaica programme in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The pilot programme is an extension of the Respect Jamaica youth ambassador cohort, which has and aims to mobilized a dedicated group of young Jamaicans, ages 16-25, to influence civic participation, learning and debate on key issues of national importance. The initiative is a long-term process of youth engagement that will includes capacity building and learning opportunities for the group to develop and evolve as advocates.Y-Klick is currently in the process of organizing a Youth Representation Campaign which aims to lobby government ministries, government agencies and key stakeholders to increase the number of youth represented in key areas and to raise awareness of the lack of representation and limited spaces for young people to have meaningful and impactful participation. The campaign aims to address the exclusion of young people from key decision-making processes, the tokenistic approach to youth inclusion and to hold the government accountable for their commitment to creating more spaces for young people to be included at the decision-making table.       WINDALCO, a bauxite and alumina production complex, uses an opencast method to extract bauxites, which lie close to the surface in Jamaica. The facility infrastructure includes a shipping port and several farms. They operate locomotives between these points which will need constant maintenance for the plant operations to remain efficient.       The YACJ is being coordinated with the intent to facilitate dialogue between youngpeople and the Government of Jamaica (GOJ) Ministries, Departments, and Agencies. This thrust will, by all means, provide support to the Government in mainstreaming youth issues into nationalpolicies and programmes actions. It is the intent that our youth will not only lead from behind (atthe local level), but will assist the Government in enabling the national goals. The Chair’s primary role is to ensure that the Council is effective in its task of setting andimplementing the work of the YACJ, in keeping with established work plans and the policy andprogrammatic directions of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Information. The Chair is the firstpoint of contact between the YACJ, Programme Manager and Office of the State Minister. TheChar will also work closely with the Programme Manager and Office of the State Minister in orderto undertake achieve programme objectives; and must communicate information, opportunities anddirectives to fellow Council members in a timely manner.The Chairperson is therefore responsible for:1.
