Show less My duties include leading on Kent based community broadband projects utilising public funding to obtain full fibre broadband and responding to complex broadband queries from members of the public, MP's and KCC members. I take a lead role in financially monitoring our current contract with Openreach to build Fibre to the premise infrastructure which requires Openreach to build to over 5000 premises in Kent. I alongside the team monitor Openreach's build on our contract and provide updates to our residence as well as KCC members. I provide support to our Broadband lead and Broadband project manager as well as attend meetings with external suppliers as well as internal senior management meetings. Show less I project coordinated an EU funded project which allowed our service provider to offer free business consultancy support to Kent business to enhance their services and increase Kent Employment. I was the main point of contact for the project from all internal and external partners and provide administrational support to the project lead. On a quarterly basis I had to prepare, write and send quarterly claim reports to European Union to obtain their match funding and liaise with the contract manager to rectify issues as well as provide the evidence documentation which was requested. I would maintain all project files and keep all documentation both paper and electronic base in line with the EU guidelines. I maintained and used the CRM system to store company information daily and managed all meetings that took place with our contractor, Match funders and individual clients. Show less My main duties included providing support to the Head of Quality within the Public health team, project manage the forward planning for quality and safeguarding within the team and prove administration support to all meetings. I developed and maintained confidential databases which highlighted were our service providers had quality or safeguarding issues and I would help find solutions to improve the situation as well as minimise the risk of the issue re-occurring. I had to communicate with several external providers on a daily basis and trained them to use our quality tracking and serious incident tool which were then discussed at the monthly meetings. I also was heavily involved in the producing of quarterly quality and safeguarding reports which were taken to DMT and Quality committee meetings. Show less I completed my NVQ Level 3 Business and Administration Apprenticeship alongside working full time for the Public Health Workforce Development Team. My main duties included being the main administrational support to the team, helped organise event days/training and maintain the project databases. I also as part of my course needed to project manage an event, so I organised and delivered the Introduction to Public Health day. This was attended by 100 public health professionals and gave an insight into what the Public Health team at KCC do on a day-to-day basis as well as the opportunities available. Show less
