  Quality:-Create and manage a Total Quality System aimed at ensuring repeatable best in class quality output to our customer as well as between each department in the the Sales to delivery value stream. -Create a system to provide directed feedback around key outputs and requirements to all functional groups including post-build analysis of each truck with management.-Integrate the quality system with the production information delivery system so each department in production has a single custom package of quality and production information for each truck and reducing information set up time and downtime related issues considerablyOther responsibilities include: -Chair a committee to develop, deploy, and train on standards and best practices for everything from general electric skills specific option installations-Enable quick tactical reaction to issues throughout the organization which lead to sustained corrective responses.Industrial Engineering:-Manage the Lean SixSigma program at Sutphen which consists of working with the Ohio State Engineering Lean SixSigma program hosting 1 year long greenbelt project a year for the past 5 years, and several yellow belt project as well. Projects have included-The creation of an inventory warehouse and a 2 loop Kanban system with POU inventory and purchasing, as well in a later project its iterative improvement to a scanning based Kanban system to improve KPI collection and reduce 1000's of card movements improving quality.-Theory of constraints based projects to improve flow throughout production-Development of a repeatable process to develop, approve, implement, train, and audit skill and option based standards with a team of engineers and subject matter experts from various production departments. Includes looking at tool and material considerations-Iterative development of an hours analysis system which takes a daily dump from our payroll system and provides various ways to display and analyze production hours Show less
