      Reported into Office of CIO as technical representative for Treasury & Security Services.• Achieved $1.5mm annual cost avoidance resulting by changing implemented desktop technology to meet actual taskworker requirements. • Documented requirements and business strategy which led to development of firm’s first enterprise class Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. The proof of concept proved successful and received funding to build production pilot to support 2,400 users across data centers in US and UK. • Improved Firm’s Desktop Management strategy by requiring web based portal to enable granular management of creating user acceptance and pilot test groups: Developed portal to meet T&SS business requirements and manage impact to our 35,000 users. Led new team of Bank One and JPMC engineers to review requirements and policies of each heritage firm’s businesses and Technology Risk Management to merge requirements and create one corporate build and standard for new firm.• Led requirements and development of firm’s first desktop configuration database to meet ITIL standards. Developed and directed strategy to build new enterprise desktop/laptop model based on Windows XP. Assembled core team comprised from various engineering groups within both JP Morgan and Chase Manhattan Bank heritage firms to develop new build process for the new firm. Build process deployed a single image managed via web portal, which centrally managed configuration, driver integration and application deployment. • Successfully implemented JPMC’s first 100% thin client environment in new office campus in Newport, NJ. Conceptualized, designed and oversaw development and implementation of JPMC’s first enterprise virtual desktop environment in 16 months. As a project leader & architect, developed new fault-tolerant, portal based, thin client model designed to support 5,000 concurrent users. Hosted summit to collaborate with integration and engineering teams and Microsoft to develop Chase’s first corporate Windows NT4 application integration standards and procedures for packaging applications for thin and fat client platforms across heterogeneous environments. With integration cost per application at $10K, Bank’s savings when migrating to one standard model was over $30MM across 4 years. The framework of that standard still exists today (2008) in application integration strategies. As a result of the summit, Microsoft introduced “Documents and Settings” in Windows 2000.• Successfully designed and developed Bank’s first global software distribution system on Chase’s corporate Novell Directory Service (NDS).
