Developed technical features and user stories in support of 15 person, agile-based API development effort; CM Roadmap development including solution architecture integrations across datahub, wellness, claims and portal apps.Engagement Lead and Solution Architect for Global Payer Cloud Feasibility Study: Led the discovery and technical workstream efforts to assess feasibility of standing up an on-demand, cloud-based, integrated testing (E2E) environment. The analysis centered around the achievability of duplicating the mainframe in the cloud using zD&T; all integrated up/downstream apps via CI/CD automation, as well as test data and test automation provisioning. Show less SELECT EXPERIENCES:Delivery Lead & Data Strategist: Led the strategy and innovation design teams at a multi-state IDN (~50 hospitals~5M patients), in the redesign of their existing message-based Care Advocacy platform. Developed detail roadmap for the next-gen solution leveraging SFDC; developed detail data entity (ERD) and to-be architecture model with data flow and integrations from EMR’s using FHIR-based resources.Technology Delivery Lead for State Medicaid Transformation: Worked across technology and business to ensure identification and coordination of all interfaces impacted by transformation. Deliverables included development of the interface repository (compendium of enterprise interface details), as well as the enterprise architecture and integration standards.Project Lead for State Medicaid Transformation: Led the Provider Ops workstream through all facets of a $50M Medicaid transformation (FFS to MC for ~85k Providers). The project entailed a complete replacement for the existing MAGI intake process; moving to a canonical, vocabulary-based messaging format and a new interoperable service oriented architecture (SOA). Subject Matter Advisor for a National BCBS Payer’s Provider Onboarding and Contracting: Provided behavioral health expertise for the system and process integration of a national BH carve-out provider, to implement a new payer contract. He was a key resource in defining requirements for: capitation contract details and vendor portal single-sign-on (SSO) technical workstream.Application Architect for a National Health Organization’s Launch of a Multi-state Health Information Exchange: Jim was responsible for the application architecture and implementation (DEV through PROD) of a multi-site/state Health Information Exchange (HIE); Technical lead for SSO/SAML integration from multiple EMR’s. Authored the privacy & security policy guidelines and functional (HIPAA) requirements.
