      Managing the Beauty Portfolio within Unilever NZ, responsible for the Haircare, Skin Care and Skin Cleansing categories and leading a team of four. Reporting directly to NZ Country Director, I am responsible for building and implementing category strategy and tactics based on category insights, and working with the Go-To-Market team to execute these to achieve outstanding results. Account Manager for Deodorants and Male Toiletries working on the Tesco account in the UK, working on implementing a Joint Business Plan on the implementation and execution of customer tailored category plans with the customer to achieve mutual growth for both businesses and achieving set targets. This role was originally a Category operations role where my focus was around taking brand plans from inception through to execution in the market, managing all operational aspects in between. The role then changed to a pure Category Manager role where I was able to become more involved in the more strategic side, for example developing the National Category Building Plans for Deodorants (NCBP). Promoted into this role, responsible for developing customer category strategy on home & personal care categories. Promoted into this pivotal role, working on the biggest category within Unilever Home & Personal Care UK. Led a cross functional team in the development and implementation of a new project management tool to simplify the operational planning process. This was then briefed to and used by the wider business and involved global input. Part of a team who led the turnaround of this category from -5% decline to 1% growth yr on yr in 2006; Customer Service role working with retailers within the Unilever supply chain team.
