  I performed maintenance and overhaul of T56 Allison turboprop engines, propellers, and accessories. My last year as an active duty jet engine mechanic was spent running Kits Section, repairing and assembling damaged QEC (Nacelle) and all related components for return to service quality. I was in charge of 4 airman and worked closely with contractors to coordinate technical repairs such as electrical work and sheet metal repair.   As a traditional guardsmen, I was able to use my previous experience as an Aerospace Propulsion Journeyman to train new Airman in various methods of troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety. I deployed to Qatar in 2014 to support six C-130 aircraft in missions under Operation Enduring Freedom, where we provided much needed humanitarian aid via airdrops to Iraqi and Afghan villagers.
