Work directly with production area managers to ensure that operations are performed in a manner that exceeds safety standards set forth by Shintech, Performance and OSHA. Ensure that the safety program continues to create a work environment that focuses on safety. Expanded the existing safety program to include and incentive program that rewards staff members for performing their job in a safe manner. Ensure that the site safety manager is well informed of all safety issues. Constantly working to improve awareness among staff members. Through the performance daily safety audits, which ensure operations are done within standards set forth by Performance, Shintech and OSHA, corrective action plans are developed and steps are taken to resolve safety deficiencies in timely manner. These audits are then compiled and sent to corporate leadership so that unsafe work cultures or trends are recognized and addressed at a corporate level. Perform daily safety meetings to ensure that all employees received the safety information they needed to do the job properly. Conduct daily audits with Chevron representatives.
