  During my internship in Beazley I mainly focused on China markets, with experiences involving the following:• Learning about the Chinese insurance market: o As an intern, I read up to familiarise myself with the Chinese insurance market and gain an understanding of its unique characteristics, such as the regulatory environment, market trends, and consumer preferences.• Supporting market research and analysis: o I was tasked with conducting research on specific insurance products or services in China and analysing the findings to inform business decisions. This could include gathering data, and analysing market trends, and I presented these findings to my supervisors & senior colleagues.• Assisting with business development:o I took part to support the business development team in identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the Chinese market. This involved conducting market research, identifying potential partners, and assisting with the preparation of proposals or presentations.• Collaborating with colleagues in China: o As Beazley operates in China, I had the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in the region to support their work and ensure effective communication and collaboration.• Participating in training and development programs: o As an intern, I had the opportunity to participate in training and development programs to enhance my skills and knowledge.Overall, working as an intern at Beazley with a focus on China markets was an exciting and rewarding experience, which helped provide valuable insight into the global insurance industry and the unique characteristics of the Chinese market.
