      Within this masters degree there is a focus on air pollution and the policies/science behind it. There is a big focus on technologies and modelling within this course to predict and reduce air pollution. A few modules undertaken include; carbon management, air pollution management control and technologies, AP chemistry, and air quality data science.

      I was a copy editor for SATNAV, a STEM-based magazine. Within this role I read and edited the magazine articles before they are published. My role was vital as I must check for any mistakes and correct these in a short space of time. This role has given me confidence in group meetings as I openly discuss my ideas for the magazine regularly.

      BIFoR Lab Assistant

      A volunteer opportunity of becoming a lab assistant to assist with soil, leaf, and roots analysis. The soil intensive was led by a PostDoc needing support on analysing and sorting through delicate samples. A lab protocol was followed and executed to aid with the research. I also learnt to handle new equipment for the study.
