  • Responsible for two small middle schools in Northamptonshire. • In charge of the running and upkeep of all IT equipment within the schools.• Day to day jobs include the general maintenance of desktops, checking of the backups and server environments to ensure the smooth running of the systems. • Replaced the aging server environment April 2013 with the latest Microsoft server 2012 and Hyper-V solutions and windows 7 clients. • Installed dozens of new Wi-Fi access points across the two schools and installed network access points to places that did not previously have this ability saving the school thousands in installation fees therefore allowing student to have more access to desktops and mobile devices.• Created asset management system for the school to track assets, testing of electrical and safety equipment designed around what the site team and business manager required and making their jobs easier. • Migrated the schools email system to Office 365 to allow more resources and better support staff in keeping in touch with the school. • Installed new IT suite including cabling and switching plus increased capacity of workstation in library and year areas allowing more students access to resources. IE build the new servers for the school and then aid in swapping over everyone ensuring smooth transitions. Further tasks and jobs include day to days support and implementing new system as the school progresses.
