Following a scandal in which the late Kidney Cancer Association president Carl F. Dixon stole more than $300K from the charity, I spearheaded the effort that brought the small non-profit back from the brink of ruin to a holding Charity Navigator 4-Star ranking (attained by less than one percent of rated organizations) with net assets exceeding US $27 million.
