      I worked at CeLIM headquarter in Milano as Desk Officer Assistant for the Africa region. My main responsibility was to collaborate in the drafting up of new project proposals to be submitted to private and major donors. I was also assisting the desk officer in monitoring and following up project activities implemented in the African Continent. I was in charge of writing monthly reports for the E.U and MAE (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) projects.

      I worked in Zambia for a microcredit project founded by E.U. as project manager assistant. The institution has got two different branches operating in two different districts. Each branch is led by a Branch Manager and my main task was to assist the Branch Manager in improving the performance of the branch. In particular I had to ensure that loan officers implemented correctly all institution's credit procedures in terms of client's selection and training, considering that the main targets of the institution are vulnerable groups. I was also in charge of a feasibility study for a new project promoted by CeLIM NGO. The focus would be to provide farmers with technical skills and financial availability in order to improve the production and differentiation of fresh vegetables in the district. Another important focus of the project would be to improve the marketing sector by networking farmers with the main buyers of the area. Show less

      I worked for Cesvi NGO in Kampong Chhang, Cambodia as project manager. Cesvi has been operational in Cambodia since 1996, implementing humanitarian activities in the sectors of water, sanitation and sexual and reproductive health in close coordination and continuous interaction with local authorities and partners. Cesvi has been focusing its efforts at both community and health services levels mainly increasing sustainable access to water and sanitary facilities. Cesvi is also currently working on the emergency response caused by the flood, preventing the outbreak of epidemics of waterborne diseases, through the distribution of aid packages and awareness campaigns to promote the correct use of the kits distributed and basic hygiene practices. My main task is supporting the Project Manager in: - ensuring the collection of all necessary documentation for narrative and financial reporting;- ensuring an accurate and timely budget planning for the assigned project;- monitoring the WASH activities from a technical point of view; - monitoring hygiene promotion activities;- elaborating feasibility study and internal reports on the current activities.
