      A group of my peers and I wrote the Climate Action Plan for the Village of Baldwinsville in New York state. Our research and decisions were largely based on the analysis of greenhouse gas inventories and previous climate action plans, and on the experiences of similar communities within the state.

      During this position I worked on social media, environmental education programming, and with invasive and endangered species in the field. While working on the FORCES social medias the accounts gained well over 400 followers altogether. Throughout the camping season I offered regular environmental education programs on the weekends to campers at Selkirk Shores State Park. The endangered species I worked with were the Great Lakes piping plovers, the American hart’s-tongue fern, and the Chittenango ovate amber snail. Some invasive species I worked on were pale swallow-wort, white-tailed deer, European dewberry, and garlic mustard. Show less
