      I researched the interactions between tourists and marine wildlife (grey whales and whale sharks) in Baja California Sur. The aim of the research was to better understand the construction, representation, and governance in marine wildlife tourism. Through interviews with key actors, participating in the tourism activities, and a literature review on governmental documents I was able to obtain a deep understanding of the legislation behind marine wildlife conservation in Mexico and how it is (or is not) put into action in the field.
