  Inspiring people to join the Canadian Museum of Nature in saving the world for future generations with evidence, knowledge and inspiration! The Museum's long history of scientific exploration and research, unites under three Centres of Excellence-The Centre for Arctic Knowledge and Exporation, The Beaty Centre for Species Discovery, and The Centre for Nature Inspiration, whose activities support our mission to inspire respect for, and appreciation of nature. Through public discovery, education, entertainment, debate and community building, the Museum inspires meaningful engagement with our natural past and present, leading to an informed future. Nature has never been more challenged that it is today. The need to create new knowledge that will contribute to solutions to the world's most pressing natural concerns, and preserve the record of nature over time is urgent. The scientists at the Museum's research facility, the Natural Heritage Campus create scientific evidence, and offer new knowledge to help understand and manage issues such as changes to biodiversity, impacts of climate change, and ocean acidification and plasticization.
