  Academic/Professional Partnership - CEAF (Center for Applied Engineering at FACAMP)

  The CEAF (Applied Engineering Center of Facamp) is an academic-professional partnership program where students map production processes and learn to identify improvement opportunities. I had the privilege of working at Forvia, a multinational company in the automotive sector.𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄I studied one of Hella's production lines and created a current state map using the VSM tool. I identified potential improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles (Kaizens) and presented a future state.𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀• Created an action plan in February 2023 to achieve project goals.• Measured the takt time of production lines and processes.• Proposed potential kaizens for reducing time, cost, and processes.• Maintained communication with the area manager.• Led a team of 4 people to keep them engaged.   The CITEC (Innovation and Technology Center at Facamp) is an academic-professional partnership between Facamp (Faculdades de Campinas) and a real company, where students from the Industrial Engineering program study the innovation process, from proposal structuring to implementation.
