Some of the roles I am responsible for are:- investment need identification, scoping, and prioritization- project design support (focus on meeting user requirements and system maintainability)- project execution monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and acceptance- add new equipment into computerized maintenance management program (CMMS)- establish equipment maintenance content/frequency for assets (incorporate into CMMS)- monitor progress of PM execution and report status to management- create/customize equipment maintenance work instructions- provide troubleshooting support to craftsmen on equipment repairs- provide repair vs replace estimates to management for funding- outsource and monitor repairs of equipment that cannot be performed in-house- prioritize pending repairs based of operation impact- ensure compliance with, and report required information to, the EPA- replace/remove/retire equipment that has outlived its design life or usefulnessAdditionally, I act as the subject matter expert for my systems whenever questions/concerns arise pertaining to code compliance issues or system failure investigations are performed. I also serve as a team member whenever failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA's) or root cause failure analysis investigations are performed on my systems which are then used to develop asset management strategies to improve the future health of my programs.
