    • Cal Poly Club Sport Sailing

      Sept 2019 - Jun 2022

As Equipment Manager, I was in charge of all maintenance, insurance, and yacht club reimbursement issues. Currently I oversee a fleet of 13 Flying Juniors, 22 sets of sails, and 13 rudder/tiller pairs. In addition, I ran all maintenance days meaning that I coordinate purchases beforehand, create car and work groups, as well as document anything completed by the group. Lastly, I was the point of contact for Cal Poly Sailing when it comes to insurance and the Morro Bay Youth Sailing Program. As Fundraising Chair, I organized and lead fundraising efforts, acted as a leader for new members of the team, and functioned as a liaison to the alumni base and the sailing community near San Luis Obispo. In regards to fundraising I implemented a quarterly newsletter, ran the Alumni, Friends, and Family fundraising event, raised upwards of $5,000, created biannual alumni reunions, and contributed to creating a lasting community of Cal Poly Sailors.
