  From January 2017 to October 2018, I am in charge of short, middle and long term planning (1 week - 25 years) for the whole mine. Short term planning consists in convincing manager and operators on the way of operating for the next week, solving conflicts, anticipating issues while staying on tracks with the chemistry sent to the plant. Long term planning deals with the overall strategy, as the production we need to achieve, the decision to hire people or to buy new trucks or shovels. I am also responsible for making the budget, and different studies which aim to optimize our performance and production in a ramp-up stage both at the mine and at the plant. Show less I manage a team dealing with the Mine Fleet Management System provided by Wenco, on over 50 mining vehicles. We are in charge of maintaining the hardware, as well as enhancing the software (codes in SQL and SSRS reporting). I analyze the reporting of existing KPIs, create new KPIs to understand where the levers on performance are. I make studies on all the mining engineering subjects (design, topography, planning, performance and even geology) to improve our performance or our methods, and subjects linked to the plant where the ore is melted (chemistry, homogeneity).
