  After training with a representative from Counter Culture Coffee, I prepared and served specialty coffee (pour over, siphon, and chemex methods), espresso (La Marzocco), artisan teas, and light food. I discussed tasting profiles of a weekly rotating coffee selection with customers and made recommendations based on their personal preferences. In addition to my barista and register duties, I helped organize in-store events, such as parties and open mic nights. My favorite part of this job was building long-lasting, positive customer relationships by creating an upbeat and friendly in-store environment. Show less

  I assisted in maintaining a private rare book library and small collection of art & historical artifacts. Some of my duties involved researching, appraising, and writing descriptions for books going to auction. Beyond floral arrangements, I also made garlands, flower crowns, corsages, and other floral accouterments.   I supervise our staff in our daily museum operations, and also develop our guided tour experiences. I am in charge of script-writing and tour training, as well as managing a team of tour guides/sales representatives. I perform this role alongside my role as the museum's Collections Manager. I manage and maintain a collection of historical artifacts for our museum. This includes accessioning, cataloging, designing new exhibitions, and some preservation.
