  I studied Internet Security and Cyber Attacks while at NIAS under Dr. N Ramani, former Head of Computing Facility of ISRO's Satellite Centre. I designed an automated protocol to locate vulnerable systems using existing online tools of server detection and geolocation.The study aided my first publication in the Journal of Network and Information Security titled "Analyzing Threat Perception and Geo-Location of Internet-Facing Systems".

  Worked on Ecological Network Analysis (ENA) in R. Ecosystems can be expressed as networks (or graphs) with the nodes representing species and edges representing flow of energy/matter amongst them. In ENA, we implement algorithms of Graph Theory to get a better understanding of the Ecosystems under consideration.Contributed to enaR(http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/enaR/index.html). The R package 'enaR' is helpful for ecologists for performing a majority of known ENA algorithms on ecosystem networks either modelled by them or included from the existing library of 100 ecosystems in enaR from literature. The package is built on the free and open source Programming Language R which provides a platform for further downstream analysis and plotting of the ecosystem. Show less
