      Led 10 engineers to develop new calibrations, calibration tools and a new control system for the 2001 Ford Mondeo and Focus. Creation and management of high level development plan, risk analysis(RPN), resources and budget control. Directed development work and design selection based on results analysis and performance against vehicle fuel economy, emissions and drive attribute targets. Working with Powertrain developers in Ford’s other subsidiaries, Mazda and Volvo, to establish “best practise” engine test and development processes and procedures where possible.Also worked as a Engine Mapping engineer, and a Exhaust Component engineer in the first few years of my time in Ford. Became a subject matter expert on IP transmission to support customer networks migration from legacy transmission networks to full IP. Quantifying system and cost benefits, whilst acknowledging the remaining issues regarding latency, jitter and network synchronisation.
