  I spent a 6 week internship at advertising agency The Union. This offered an invaluable insight to the fast paced world of advertising and afforded me experience in working with art directors, art-workers, copywriters and project managers as well as internal and client meetings.

  Darren was nominated for a BAFTA New Talent Award for A Good Mate (2009). He's appeared in short films, a BBC radio series, and starred in the feature film Super November. Darren often collaborates with director Douglas King, taking lead roles in films like Let’s Go Swimming and Romance & Adventure, which toured UK cinemas and screened at festivals worldwide. Their sitcom adaptation for BBC Radio 4 featured actors like Josie Long and Clare Grogan.

  In this role as graphic designer I was responsible for responding to client briefs with creative concepts and creating graphics for print including branding, marketing campaigns and materials, photography, packaging design and web visuals. During the creative directors two week holiday I filled the role of senior designer which provided a platform to develop my skills in liaising with clients, leading projects and creating briefs for the web developer. I thrived on the additional workload and level of responsibility, which essentially inspired me start my own business. Show less
