  Territorial Agression in Maritime Southeast Asia : Southeast Asia is a relatively stable and peaceful region, but not without disputes (e.g. the overlapping territorial claims in the South China Sea). As China grows in economic and military strength, and as the US ‘pivots’ to Asia-Pacific, the political climate of the region is bound to transform drastically.
