  I’m very much inspired by futurist Dr. Patrick Dixon’s quote which exclaims, “The key to understanding future is one word: Sustainability.” I was constantly exposed to various ideologies relating to sustainability. I realized that sustainable development involved three dimensions: economic, social, and environmental. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), were developed by the United Nations to protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. Thus, to provide my contribution towards a positive impact on the environment, during my bachelor’s thesis, I decided to focus on the “Last Mile Problem” that serves as a threat to logistics firms. This project involved, “Design, Development and Product Utility Analysis of an E-Scooter for Logistics Purpose” which helps in reducing our ecological footprint by improved resource utilization, and paves the way for achieving responsible production and consumption. As part of the internship, Mech Motors Pvt.
