  Campaign Intern

  The goal of the campaign was to convince Senator Portman (Ohio) to vote in favor of the Land, Water and Conservation Fund as well as the Antiquities Act. I gathered about 150 petitions in favor of the campaign and trained other petitioners as well. I wrote numerous letter to the editors and had one published in This Week Community News - Westerville. We gathered businesses that would benefit from the two issues and I reached out to them asking them to sign onto a business coalition stating their support. I was also in charge of promotional pieces that included posters informing the public of an upcoming event that was hung in businesses in downtown Columbus. Show less
