      Talie was News Editor for the Australian Horror Writers’ Association for four years (2006-2010), for which she received a Ditmar nomination for Best Professional Achievement.As Horror Editor for the anthology series The Year's Best Australian Fantasy and Horror, co-edited with Liz Grzyb (Fantasy) for Ticonderoga Publications, she has been awarded an Aurealis Award for Best Anthology, and awarded a Tin Duck Award for Best West Australian Professional Production, and has been additionally nominated for sixteen other awards for the anthology. The preface essay co-authored with Liz Grzyb has been twice nominated for the William Atheling Jr. Award for Criticism and Review.Talie has worked as both Entertainment Editor and Music Editor on The Box Magazine, managed by the Box Hill Institute Student Media Committee.She operates a boutique editing and copywriting service, Killer Content Communications, catering to outstanding genre artists, musicians and businesses. Show less Talie has had poetry published in journals including Midnight Echo, Voiceworks, Avant, Inkshed, Wild Musette, and Mary Manning's textbook About Poetry (Oxford University Press). Her co-authored short story (with Martin Livings) first published in paranormal romance anthology More Scary Kisses won the Tin Duck Award for Best West Australian Professional Short Written Work, in addition to being nominated for the Ditmar Award for Best Short Story.       As a musician Talie has performed with Wendy Rule Band, Melbourne Georgian Choir, Eden, Saba Persian Orchestra, Adesso, Maroondah Symphony (principal contrabass), The Tenth Stage, Hobbs' Angel of Death, Portrayal, and a choir supporting Wendy Matthews and Julian Lennon on the ARIA Awards. Talie sings extensively on Wendy Rule's 'Persephone' double album, voicing Priestesses of Demeter and Persephone; the album has been listed as a comparative mythology study resource at the Joseph Campbell Centre in California. Talie performed and presented at an interdisciplinary exploration of beauty in horror titled ‘Dark Delights’ with Kirstyn McDermott and Kyla Ward for Continuum Convention. Talie composed and performed an original underscore to accompany the launch reading of Jason Nahrung’s vampire novella ‘Salvage’ at the Twelfth Planet Press Showcase at Melbourne Writers Festival. Talie lives in Melbourne and is beautifully lost between her literary and compositional practice as she undertakes a Bachelor of Music (Interactive Composition) at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music - Victorian College of the Arts and Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
